Panama Metro Line 2, Panama City, Panama

Project Manager/Design Manager for design-built of a 21 km elevated metro line in Panama City. Line 2 included 16 stations, yards and shops for maintenance of the trains and a redundant control and command center. Project cost $2.2 Billion.

Tocumen International Airport, Panama City, Panama

Country Manager/Director of Operations for the design team for the Airside and Landside components of the Tocumen International Airport Expansion.

Abu Dhabi International (AUH) United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Project Manager Interior renovation, remodeling and upgrades of the existing terminal that was initially built in 1970. The project had a tight schedule as the Client based completion on the visit of millions of tourists for the first Formula 1 race in the Country. PM responsible for the entire MEP design of the remodeling and upgrades of the existing terminal.

Miami Intermodal Center: Consolidated Rental Car Facility Miami-Dade County, FL

Project Manager, Chief Mechanical Engineer and Engineer of Record responsible for HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection for the development of engineering drawings for a 4,000,000-SF parking facility intended to consolidate the location of various rental car providers serving Miami International Airport. Estimated construction cost of $230 million. First facility in the world with 120 multilevel fueling stations. Building also housed car washing stations, office spaces, as well as general parking. The work included the design of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, lighting and fire alarm systems, as well as fueling systems for fuel islands.

Terminal 4, Fort Lauderdale International Airport Broward County, FL

Project Manager/Design Manager for design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems for Remodeling of Existing Terminal 4 at Fort Lauderdale International Airport.   

Concourse D Extension: North Terminal Development Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade County, FL

Project consisted of the design for the airside portion of the $3.0 Billion North Terminal Development Program at Miami International Airport. The North Terminal is a 50-contact gate facility and serves as the Latin American and Caribbean hub for American Airlines and American Eagle. As a sub to the Prime Architect, responsible for plumbing and HVAC system designs for Concourse D Extension. Estimated construction cost $1.4 billion. 

South Terminal Expansion: Fire Protection and Plumbing Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade County, FL

Project Manager responsible for the fire protection and plumbing associated with the expansion of this 900,000-sf airport terminal; estimated cost of construction $380 million. 

North Runway: Miami International Airport Miami-Dade County, FL

Engineering services for the construction of a new 8,600-foot air carrier runway including all associated taxiways and circulation roadways on the north side of the Miami International Airport. Responsible for the design of the replacement of the fire protection utilities, including coordination with existing hangars such as Sonic Aviation and Commercial Jet. This included changes to existing systems and adding new fire protection pumps to existing system. Design and coordination of demolition and replacement work of fire pumps and water and sewer. 

Air/Seaport: Tactical Response Training Center Fire Station, Broward County, FL

Provided the mechanical design and construction phase services for the HVAC systems of the proposed Air/Seaport Fire Station including Training Tower. The work included apparatus rooms (ventilation), as well as Fire Fighters’ residential area with kitchen, storage, special training and decontamination areas. 

North Terminal Development Project 739, Miami International Airport, Miami, FL

Responsible for plumbing and HVAC System design for Concourse D Extension and Concourse C-D Infill for American Airlines at Miami International Airport.  Responsible for interdisciplinary computer-based information systems coordination.

Miami International Airport, DEFG&H Wraps and Renovations, and DEF Wrap Expansion, Miami, FL

Senior Mechanical Engineer for the design of the New DEFG&H Wraps Expansion at Miami International Airport.  Duties include field verification of existing areas to be remodeled and design of a new three-story expansion building.

Jackson Memorial Hospital Miami, FL

Design of Plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems for Mental Health Emergency Generator Addition.  Design of Plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems for interior remodeling Children and Families Institute Annex Building.
